After the Automatic Gun ban of may 1986 you must file paperwork and be on the ATF's Class 3 machine gun owner. Plus pay minimum $10,000 for the gun itself. Plus at any moment the ATF can check up on you without a warrant to make sure everything is in check and if you're caught with modifications to it then that's a federal offense. If that gun is stolen or used in a crime and is recovered you are screwed. In Switzerland it is a law that everyone owns a gun, and guess what? Switzerland has the lowest crime rate in the WORLD. |
