Turn off vista basic theme?

1. Right click on your desktop, and click on "Personalize"
2. Click on "Window Color and Appearance"
3. Choose "Windows Aero" from the list-box and hit the okay button.

No, you dolt, obviously me and him aren't idiots to the point where we can't do one of the most basic functions in Windows.
Seriously.
For those who don't get the problem:
Personalizing the windows color scheme+windows scheme does not let us choose from Vista options other than basic.
It looks horrible.

Try this:
Open up Command Prompt (with administrator priviledges), type in:
"net stop uxsms"

then, right after that, type:
"net start uxsms"

Hope this helps.

Oh, and if it turns on and back off after you do the "net start uxsms" command, then you're using Vista Home Basic, and therefore do not deserve Aero.
