Tom Gunn:
Ok im considering upgrading my graphics card but i dont know something.
Is it possible that a computer can be to old to get an upgrade like that?

I'll post my computer in a little.
General Nick:
It is possible that;
-Your motherboard doesn't have ports like PCI-Express 2.0 meaning you'll have to find some low-tech graphics that still use what your motherboard has.
-Your power supply can't provide enough power to it.
-Your processor is old and is bottlenecking your graphics.
-Your case is too small.

I'm not saying that your computer has these problems, I'm saying these are possible cases as to why a computer can be too old to get a graphics update.
Tom Gunn:
I've been in the case but errm it does have a pc1 slot and a graphics card in it its called...XFX a division of pine..
Deoxy99:
Go online and update the same card. Or just buy a Nvidia or Ageia or...just pick one! Grab one that is cheap and is a great graphics card!
