Most important elements of a story.

Here is an example of a good story:

Cinderella. Absolute classic. Used to love that book.

Bad story? Here:

This. The fact that you can even spell the words right here is an absolute miracle. I don't get it. Its just... bleck. And notice how this got moved to off-topic? I can only wonder why. oh, wait, because it isn't a story.
Its barely a paragraph long, lacks every important element a book relies on, and focuses on something that makes absolutely no sense!

I mean really, elements? Magic? I agree, which drug were you on when you wrote this? Don't try to make a story 'til you've read at least two hundred real, nice thick books. Novels, I should say. Because any less than that probably won't work out.

No offense to anybody else on this forum, none at all. Directed at Deox.
