v13 Mac crashes on opening

Well it just crashes as soon as I click the icon. I tried downloading both zip and dmg and neither of them are working.

My computer is the latest 10.6.1 runs all other games fine, so I guess there must be a glitch. Also I'd love to leave a log but sadly there is none.
