No... Screamo is a version of emo that evolved from punk and hardcore, screamo contains singing in between screaming and poppy punk riffs.
Death metal is a sub-genre of heavy metal that incorporates blast beats, detuned machine gun riffs and growling, no singing whatsoever.
Death metal = Death metal
Screamo = Screamo
