Explains the sign, too, but there are similarities to other characters. The green clothing implies a connection to the felt, and perhaps the similar relationship between Scratch and English. The greyscale text also hints at the connection to Scratch, even tying back to The Sufferer as Karkat's is also grey.

New theory. These people are successful in their goal of using the void session to create a new universe regardless, however that new universe is the one where the felt come from, then using temporal shenanigans could intervene through other sessions.

The void session is supposed to be doomed from the start. Also, that would be a pretty lame plot twist, since the felt are mostly minor characters.

I guess he's gonna do the same thing with the other dead trolls? Nequiussprite? Feridansprite? Sollux + ?? Gamzee's connection to Cal also hints at a connection to Lord English, so could this be a product of his interference?

I was reading H. P. Lovecraft's The Festival today, and I noticed this interesting little description:

-a vast fungous shore litten by a belching column of sick greenish flame and washed by a wide oily river that flowed from the abysses frightful and unsuspected to join the blackest gulfs of immemorial ocean.

Am I crazy, or does this sound like LOWAS after the ocean was set on fire?

So they're definitely two different people but I wish that dual persona theory was cannon :c

Well we have just seen two trolls combined into one, so perhaps UU's claim that they have different blood color refers to two different colored bloods owned separately by two separate personalities inhabiting the same body. It doesn't make much sense, I know. Perhaps it changes somehow? Possibly akin to Aradia's change in blood color when she became Aradiabot.

The blood bit does have me a bit confused, but the idea of uu only coming out while UU is sleeping fits so well with what we know of him so far. He was in UU's room while she was asleep, even though they've never met in person. Additionally, we've only heard from him during a time period when she was asleep. The possibility of uu sending the message from far in the future or past relative to UU sleeping is somewhat countered by the confirmation that uu was active while she slept.
