In my recommendation, don't rebuy stuff you don't need, things like a keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor, case and even power supplies and dvd-drives can be reused.

First of all, what does this have to do with the subject? And second, what do you mean, starting from scratch? If you mean building a computer completely, then yes, I actually AM starting from scratch.

Also, I can tell you're going for looks, not price or function. Did you even bother to look at consumer reviews? It took me hours to find products that matched and that were good by consumer standards. I doubt you spent as much time.
