In my recommendation, don't rebuy stuff you don't need, things like a keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor, case and even power supplies and dvd-drives can be reused.

EDIT:  Perfect, it may still be within my budget! (maybe lower if I reuse more parts)

Just a heads up its not always about looks, its about if it works AND looks good.

PCI-E 2.0 cards are compatible with motherboards that only support support PCI-E and vice versa.
