But to strike another point, why does a random person on the street's opinion matter more than someone on the internet's? Are you trying to be totally hip on the streets?

I think your misunderstanding me...I'm talking about people you know.  Not random people, like everyone on the internet.  I have never met a person on the internet, then found them in real life.

i take internet more serious then the average person because a bulk of my work/life are done on it.
maybe blockland isn't so important for me. but other communities, its very important i have a good reputation and be liked and trusted.

I don't agree with that, because I don't have a job.  If you work in an online business it does matter, but most people use the internet as a shield and say things they wouldn't if they were talking to someone face to face.  Like random insults.  starfish :D

Ok...Still misunderstanding.  I didn't say people on the internet are fake, I said that the opinion of people you don't (And most likely will never) know don't matter.  That's why I said random people on the street's opinions don't matter either.
But I am not going to talk about this anymore because I hate arguing.

Honestly, I don't have many 8K and up ID friends, it's weird but I get along more with people with lower IDs than mine. Anyone think they know why this is?
