Author Topic: What is the best way to make you games run smoother?  (Read 2981 times)

good sir iownu, please go find the start bottun, then find a program called 'run' then type in dxdiag, then post a picture of that.

Google: "how to find out my system specifications"

Everything here can be found on Google, goddamn.

I found the specs a while go by searching google (:3 inv3rted) and found out. Im not getting a new computer, mine is only a year old.

2gb of RAM just doesn't cut it for newer games, which I believe he is intending to play.
I can play Portal with 512 MB Ram with absolutely NO lag with all settings maxed out.

Post the specs?

That's because Portal is purposefully undemanding, and the source engine is dated?

I get lag playing Team Fortress 2, but very little and that's only with projectiles flying everywhere.
And I have an ATI Radeon HD 9800 that is 4 years old.

Get a normal PC, not a netbook, ffs.
EDIT: You're running with built in graphics.  Get a video card.

0.0 so um... which video card would be better than built in graphics? I dont want better graphics though, i want my games to run better (higher FPS).

I think you're better upgrading it.
