b-bu-but it's Sunday. D:

That's not true, you can't hear anything with the immense rush of wind around you from falling at terminal velocity.Yeah, you people didn't see the smoke ejectors on their shoes at the beginning of the video?
But it wasn't THAT red.

But it wasn't THAT red.
Yes it was, just watch it when the guy lands. Perfect color match.

I went and saw one of their shows at the Andrew Airforce base... They were terrific. It amazes me that at such speeds somebody can literally cut off limbs, and it saddens me to know that they died.

old :(, i remember seeing this a while back

Woah, wait, so the guy who got his arm crushed died? Yet the guy who got both of his legs cut off lived?

No, watch the goddamn video. The guy who got his legs sliced died.

Anyone catch the full names?

But it changed color, so that burst wouldn't be so red if it weren't blood.  Also, if that's not blood, then where's the guys blood?  He HAD to have SOME blood come out, his freaking legs were removed.

That smoke cloud was the size of a person. People don't explode in blood like that unless some actual explosives are involved.

It changed color because if you knew about the diffusion of air you'd know that the guy was traveling at an accelerated rate before impact so his color jet would have appeared lighter due to the volume of colored smoke being diffused over a great area making the color less prominent. At the time of the impact, his acceleration was halted exceedingly which allowed the smoke to concentrate in an area and appear more prominent before diffusing normally into the atmosphere thus making it appear darker. When the guy landed at the start of the video, the colored smoke was exact to the smoke puff in the air. The canister never changed it's output of colored smoke throughout the flight.

As for the blood, I agree with Inv3rted. A person just does not explode into blood from an impact like that. You've watched way too many movies. Yeah, there was probably blood that did get scattered, but none that would be so clearly seen from that height from such an amateur camera.

How does the guy that shears off the other dude's legs with his arm die but the guy missing both his legs survive?

I dont know, the arm is closer to the head maybe he had an enormous whiplash when he hit while the guy who got his legs blown off flew forward.

Still, you've got two massive arteries in your legs.

Some things just can't be explained. One survived, one didn't. There have been news reports of people falling from greater distances without functioning parachutes and surviving the resulting impact, while others have been flattened on impact. Just luck of the draw.

Well, when they're on the ground, the smoke diffuses to a different color too fast.  Sure, maybe it could be.  We don't know.  It could just be like that because it's both.
