PS3 vs Xbox 360... Pointless?

I go on my PS3 more than my 360 but I would probably say that they are both the same in the greatness rating. On Little Big Planet there are levels that say that the PS3 is better or levels that involve killing a 360. I just want to know if you guys think that the arguing is pointless too. Post comments here:

When my brother moves out, I plan to buy one of those 360 VGA cables and plug it into my monitor so I can enjoy it more <3
