But your post about achilles and the turtle kinda failed. Even if the turtle had a head start achilles would eventually catch up, he runs faster. Doesn't matter if the turtle is still going, he's slower. If you start walking and 5 minutes later someone starts running after you, they'll catch up.

Yeah, that's where I got it from.

Of course Achilles would overtake the tortoise, but can you explain why? It makes sense that no matter how slowly the tortoise moves forward, Achilles just catches up more swiftly than the tortoise.

Explain mathematically why Achilles will overtake the turtle.
