Of course Achilles would overtake the tortoise, but can you explain why? It makes sense that no matter how slowly the tortoise moves forward, Achilles just catches up more swiftly than the tortoise.

Explain mathematically why Achilles will overtake the turtle.

--- End quote ---
Taking arbitrary values:
- Achilles runs at 20mph
- The tortoise moves at 1mph
- The tortoise has a 20 mile head start

At the start, the tortoise is at 20 miles ahead of Achilles.
After one hour, the tortoise is 21 miles from the start, he is 20 miles from the start.
After two hours, the tortoise is 22 miles from the start, he has overtaken and is 18 miles in front. (40 from the start)

Here's one:
There is a Servant, and a master.
The Servant is the Master of the Master, and the Master is the Master of the Servant.

PARADOX.

--- End quote ---
Not really. If there are two masters and two servants, that is called chain of command.
