First, I couldn't resist the joke of saying something "anti-gay *gasp*" while talking about the topic of gays being signed into a hate-crime bill. Second, while I agree that all Americans should be protected from violence, I think the bill is bad in that it also targets clergy, who are against homoloveuality for religious reasons, and normally would have a right to speak out against homoloveuality from the pulpit. This is a huge step in destroying free speech. |
