Is it possible to download add-ons to a mac?

Anyway my computers motherbored burned adn so now until i can get some money im on my mac and im wondering if there is any way to download add-ons to a mac and if so can you tell me and what i need if anything? please?

its the same process. Just drag them to your add-ons folder.
