If it doesn't kill me, I don't give a damn. I know everything I eat has rat feces and insects in it and possible human DNA, but if it tastes good and no STDs are contracted or I die, I am a happy panda.

You need to get sick in order to make sure your body can fight it next time. I grew up eating half cooked hamburgers that still bled deep red and I have one hell of a high immune system in thanks to that. I'm sure I've had salmonella and E-coli at one point or another, but my body has handled it without the need to go to a hospital. Quit trying to avoid things like a scardey cat. You're missing out on a lot of good food.
