I find a Windows environment to be easier to use than a *nix environment. I don't get why it is said that it is easier to use. You know, like the close, window/maximize, and the minimize buttons in osx. On windows they tell you what they do, on a mac, they're just colors. Any competent user can keep away from files named "AWESOMEresearchXXX.exe", fake free stuff, or fake virus scans.
