The only problem with socialized healthcare is anyone can get anything, so you end up with millions of illegal immigrants wanting the same operation as you and you are in the back of the line, wealth and status mean nothing. That is the only problem that would affect you personally anyway. People talk about how awesome Canada is for having it, but trust me you will wish you could pay for it again when the conditions are horrible, getting in for a rare surgery is impossible, and you have no choice in your situations. The only people that will benefit from socialized healthcare are the people that would never be able to afford any healthcare period.
