How do you make a car/other vehicle come up

What text? The one in the centre telling you what to do?
That comes up automatically.

You probably broke your game somehow.
When you play the tutorial, messages should come up clearly on your screen.
Reinstall your game.

I reinstalled it but nothing's coming up still...?
