I got my first M game when I was like 3, it was Conkers Bad Fur Day, of course back then I didn't know what was going on and just kept pressing random buttons.

I buy my own games. Your parents have every right to restrict you if THEY bought it. But if you made your own money and bought the game, I'm sure you could talk to them and get them to let you play it.
