--- Quote from: Rughugger on November 03, 2009, 06:01:35 PM ---I haven't seen the video, but if it was a machinma video, there are certain exceptions. I guess so long as credit is still given to rightful owners of the game used to produce the video. That Red Vs Blue is a classic example. I'm sure Bungee gets something from it. --- End quote --- Their game is getting advertised for free, I'm pretty sure they're getting something from it. |

I got offered for a partnership for my Roblox trailer I made back in June.. But the application was declined for the reason... --- Quote ---Advertisers on YouTube are currently looking to advertise against family safe content --- End quote --- ...Interesting. |

To be a partner, you need to upload videos often, you also need to upload things that people generally like and, you need to stay active. I highly doubt they'd actually accept if you signed up. |

--- Quote from: Rughugger on November 03, 2009, 05:49:13 PM ---Considering it's a Blockland video they're talking about, you'd be making money off of copyrighted material that you don't own. Bad idea. I'd not go for it. Badspot might not be pleased. --- End quote --- Making a blockland video does not mean its copyrighted. Now, if you do something like releasing blockland under a different name...thats different. Badspot doesn't own your blockland youtube videos. |
