I've been hoping to use google wave to replace an irc channel my friends and I use. Google wave supports both synchronous and asynchronous communication, so I won't have to be in the wave or even have my computer online in order to catch up on last night's conversation. Oh yeah, and we can embed youtube videos and images and stuff in the wave.

I also won't have to deal with net splits.

Wow after watching the wave video, Wave looks amazing. Google is really successful I hope Google OS will be up there with linux or somewhat above mac. :D
