Yup, the world loves to hate America, but when it all boils down to it you guys would be screwed without us. I could spout endless reasons why we have done a mass means of good in this world, but no one cares. Because everyone likes to bandwagon against the US because it's the most convenient excuse to why the world is going to stuff. No one is ever ready to admit massive faults their own countries do, nope. That's all America's fault and let's justify it with a few bad examples over the years. Truly truly truly pathetic attitude. |

Exactly what has Canada done wrong to the world? :S The fact you are getting so worked up about this kind of shows how American you truly are. Someone says one little thing about America and you attack them for it? Also, I'm not saying everything wrong with the world is America's fault. What I do dislike is the arrogance I see from the people from there. Just as you dislike some Canadian's saying you should celebrate our holidays. |

You make it seem as if Canada is faultless in everything, but you know better than I would what kinds of wrongs your country has done. I'm not going to sit behind my PC looking them up for the sake of an unnecessary argument. The point is, you know, and you have your gripes about what your government has done and is currently involved in. That's what being a citizen is about, that's what freedom is about. Gee, thanks for reminding me I'm American. I musta durn near forgot that. The fact that I get worked up, as you claim that I do, isn't even a factor. I was born here, so I'm loyal to my country just as you are to yours. I'm sure you get equally frustrated with the same old Canadian stereotypes as we do about how the world stereotypes us. I'm not attacking anything, I'm defending my country from wrongful slander and persecution by someone who, by all means, is supposed our ally. You've shown just as much arrogance to how "faultless" your country is as I have trying to defend mine. Seriously dude, take a look at what you type before you post it. You're blind to your own observations. |
