That's a terrible definition. A theory must be tested and testable. The Theory of Evolution is no less correct than the Theory of Gravity. Can you prove gravity exists? It might all just be a coincidence. |

But then again there's string theory, which is not proven in the least. Thus theory is anything that explains anything. Id call evolution more of a law then anything else, in any event. |
