UPnP, End of port forwarding?
Starcraftman:
I have noticed that one of the most common problems that people have with blockland is port forwarding and hosting a server. I was wondering if it would be possible to implement UPnP into blockland/torque. For those of you how don't know, routers that support UPnP automatically forward the ports for programs that also have UPnP, so in short it means automatic portforwarding. I was wondering if it would be possible to implement UPnP into blockland/torque. If it could be implemented it would greatly simplify hosting servers. What do you think?
Mateo:
It would be awesome if I didn't have to port forward, but I think this probably is on the bottom of the list for things that need to be improved. For most people port forwarding is more of an inconvenience rather than an actual problem.
Lugnut:
The problem, is that if this worked, noobs would start hosting everything.

Pfft I hope you get banned for that comment.
I acutally had to buy a new Modem and router just to host on Torque(Blockland) :( so this would of been nice a year ago.

You aren't forced to go into their servers.
