I just add money from my dad's credit card to buy stuff. :D
But I usually only get cheap stuff, I ask when I want to get something $15 and up.

im thinking of getting a ps3 just for ffxiv. like the first game, i would play the first year or so on console for the comfort and convenience, before moving to pc.

Be sure to try out the Uncharted series if you aren't into console FPSs.
