Feelings are a program

And a complex one at that, but it's still kinda... weird to think of me and my mind as a computer.

I think of the mind as too complex, and not perfect either.

In no way is it perfect, you are completely right on that one, because if it were perfect there would be no bad.  Everything would be seen through rose colored glasses; peaches and cream if you will.

Did you completely miss the part about that being my beliefs?  I don't need proof, I have faith; and it hasn't been disproved yet, so I have no reason not to believe it.

That is an awful portrayal of my beliefs.

and just for you, WhatevaGuy, I'm gonna go ahead and double post. Just for you

There is no evidence for the existence of the soul. You are accepting its existence on faith alone, which completely breaks the point of the scientific method. You cannot say there is a soul before you have evidence for its existence. It's just as likely that we're just artificial intelligence entities in some sort of supercomplex video game created by beings in another dimension. You don't subscribe to that belief, and yet it has the same amount of backing that the existence of the soul does. Do you not see the flaw in your thinking? You have allowed religion to destroy the scientific method.

The burden of proof is on the one who asserts something. In this case, you. You're an idiot for subscribing to this logic.

and jsut for, WhatevaGuy, I'm gonna go ahead and double post. Just for you

Aw, you are so sweet!

I mean, really?

Really.  It is a trivial thing, nobody cares about some baseball.  But when it is something that affects your views on life I think I'll want a little more proof before I toss my beliefs out the window.

I have no comeback other than this: why does it mean so much to you that everybody agrees with your beliefs?
Because the way you're acting sure makes me think that's the case.

The point of that comic just went WWHOOOSHH! right over your head.

I'm the grumpy atheist who hates God because something didn't go my way even though He still loves me.

Also I secretly know he exists, I just deny it because I want to hurt him.

Burden of proof. Read up on it. You have no evidence for your beliefs, therefore it is very idiotic to retain them.

Mind doing me a favor?  State your beliefs.

I'm just a grumpy atheist that tries to make topics impossible to speak for the sake of my religious war that I know I'll win
