This without the emitter. Maybe it could act like a fakekilled brick/projectile (like a grenade, where it has collision?)

yes, it would be cool if players could catch it and add it to their tools. even cooler when the equip it and click it, the present would open and you would then have a toy which would be picked at random. you could get a little train, little plane, little car, or a little toy soilder.
