So yeah, i thought that i might try to build my own computer, because this one is getting pretty old...

But now, i order all the crap online, case MB, all that good stuff, and now it all comes seperately, so i try to put it together, and, woo hoo, i can't.

I bring it to the nearest tech place (Which is about 200 miles south of my town)

And, surprise surprise, i ended up breaking the motherboard, and now the guy says that if i want HIm to put it together, and throw in a new Motherboard, it'll cost $536.96

This is why i would never try to build my own computer
Ryuu:
Nice one, dude.

If your broke it, nice job. You should really learn how to handle computer components. Don't just order parts and expect it to be like a lego set, with instructions and click-in parts.

If it broke while shipping, tell them (which It didn't)

Where do you live in the Nevada Desert? The nearest place that can fix a computer is 200 miles away? >.>

You should really be over the age of 13 to build something like a computer worth $1000. I personally think you got what you deserve. From what you told us, you were trying to put it together. You must not know where the parts go because you broke the motherboard (probably with too much force applied to it or rough handling) So really there was no one by you that could help?

That's exactly how it is though, you're a real idiot to screw up a PC build.
