--- Quote from: oromis on November 19, 2009, 10:50:28 PM ---Facebook decreases social skills. People rely on that abomination of a website to make friends with and never go outside to actually meet people. Meet REAL people, not that child enthusiast pretending to be a younger boy. --- End quote --- You're thinking of MySpace |

--- Quote from: Rughugger on November 19, 2009, 10:55:00 PM ---I have two accounts. One for my family to see, the other for what I don't want them to see. --- End quote --- You, sir, are a genius. I should do that. The Facebook site itself sucks. It's so loving slow. I can't have any other windows or tabs open because it slows down my entire PC. EDIT; I, too, only add people I know in real life. |

--- Quote from: MackTheHunter on November 19, 2009, 11:07:09 PM ---It's really handicapped, Facebook was originally for colledge students who lost touch with friends from elemetary/secondary school. Then all the sudden a bunch of 12 year olds came in and used it as Myspace, basically. --- End quote --- Don't forget that when it first started it was based off of an invite only basis. SO it only grew the more people wanted to network with friends. |

I have one, but only for friends IRL. Random people on the internet don't need to know what I'm doing without doing some work to somehow bypass privacy settings first. |
