Port Forwarding on Vista

Ok, I seriously need help. I did the router forwarding, but can find the place to put my dns numbers because all the guides are XP and stuff is in way different places. I'll probably get banned for asking this, even though I read 2 guides and they didn't help much.....

I forget which you use, ipv4 or 6.
That's really the only difference for port forwarding between XP and Vista/7.
