By directionless I meant that your arguments are going no where. Moybus is still going to hate GreenBH for stupid reasons and you are still going to “do your job” under the assumption that everyone is going to listen to you.

I'd say about when the person's basically not contributing anything positive and a lot of negative to a community. This is pretty much the situation with GreenBH.
