Why is the government into "teaching a lesson"? If somebody gets killed, the killer should lose their life, not rot in jail where, as before stated, they have to be cared for (therefore costing the jail/gov't money), and they have a chance at escaping! If you ask me, they should put all murderers, rapists, ect. on a random lottery death sentence. So that every morning they wake up in constant fear of the chance that they might be the next to die. The deaths would be humane, of course, but that's not what the other inmates would think as I'd be playing audio clips from several slasher flicks over the PA to terrify them. The prison edict "Thems that have heart attacks be the lucky ones!" |
