Basically they made the first one because they KNEW they would make an excellent profit off of it. All they needed were actors that were "cute" to the girls so that they would instantly want to watch it. That's why half the time the were-wolfs have no shirts on. Then they expanded and made a second because the first made them a good profit. It's all for the money!
