An 80k connection is like the same thing as dial up.

However you define broadband speed, its like AT LEAST stuffty dsl, and that's like 1.5mbit.
That would be a 187k connection. Still barely enough to play modern games.

Games require upload to lag less. A connection like yours wouldlikely upload at some 8k per second,
When normal mmos would require at least 100k up

I'm on a 25mbit. That's a 3,125k connection. And most mmos cap my individual bandwidth at 800k per second

I think my DSL is rated at 3mbit but I'd have to double check. Either that or I'm running a really long cable from your house to mine. lol

If the router is only 4 feet from your computer, why are you going wireless on the thing? Hardjack it to the router and it'll work much better. Unless you're talking about those god-forsaken satelite internets, then you may as well just quit right there. :/
