Nostalgia in my case. I love my Akira class ship a lot and if I need a quick turning ship other than the behemoths of Tier 5, then you bet your butt I'll be going for the one that can turn on a dime. |

Like I said, they need to let you upgrade the lower-tiered ships so they keep their appearance but gain the abilities of the higher-tiered ships. I like the way the Destiny-class looks, but there's just so much unneeded crap on it. I'd much rather have a Tier 5 Intrepid. |

Intrepid is a tier four I thought. T1: Miranda, Centaur, ShiKahr T2: Nova, Constitution, Saber (counting their interchangeable variants) T3: Akira, Cheyanne, Olympic (and variants) T4: Defiant, Galaxy, Intrepid (ditto) T5: Prometheus, Sovereign, Luna, and other not so pretty classes (double ditto) |
