EDIT: Actually, if what Blobeh said was true (you can measure distance) then with trigonometry you could find horizontal and vertical distance away and thus find what angle to launch it at. This means it would work when what you're shooting at is not level. |

The target isn't a person its a spot. Think of it as the air strike beacon. You pick a spot on the ground, then the rocket will travel there. The javelin isn't a homing rocket launcher on everything, just vehicles. |
