Okay, so my server is working fine, people can connect and its all good. but when it's hosted upstairs, and I want to get on it downstairs on the mac, it says it's dead? Server hosted on the PC, can't get on with a mac? Do I have to port forward for both computers? I would like to know why I cant join the same server on different computers. My friend is hosting a server upstairs, (Port forwarded) and I can't join it downstairs (Un-port forwarded)?

Cody574:

You have to Query LAN to join any servers on your network.

You have to forward for the computer hosting.
You cannot forward both at the same time unless you use different ports.
