Amade and Pandan's arguments conflict with each other. It's kind of obnoxious really. Amade says "You aren't looking at this from Pandan's point of view!" And then Pandan refuses to tell us his point of view. If I may be a massive prick here, and fere to:
This thread essentially comes down to this, and I haven't seen you address this yet (correct me if I'm wrong but this thread gets 5 posts a minute so it's hard to keep up):
1. Space Guy's shield is better - Well, he outdid you, too bad, but it's for the best.
2. Both shields are the same - Healthy competition.
3. Your shield is better - Well, you outdid him, good job. What are you worried about? People will like yours better.
Seriously. He has yet to give ANY REASON WHATSOEVER as to why Space Guy posting the addon first is bad, when taking this post into account. Nothing that doesn't make him seem like a bigger douche.
Oh also Amade, you can't say I haven't at least attempted to view things from Pandan's point of view. Hell I've even posted when I've agreed with him, a long ways back. But look, I'm sorry, and I think I speak for most people when I say this, but unless Pandan can come up with some new reasons, I really doubt anyone will feel any different about his currently non-horrific situation. In fact, I would almost venture to say, that nearly all hate people have for him now has generated from this very topic.
That quote where I agreed with Pandan (one of 2 or 3 issues that have come up):
I must side with Pandan when it comes to some of the competition aspect of this topic; he has stated several times he doesn't want this to be a competition. Only Space Guy said it should be.
(I'm not saying competition is bad, only that Pandan doesn't want competition.)
And hell, even this quote is mildly confusing, because if Pandan does not want competition, why does Space Guy releasing it first matter? What competition? I mean really, this is not a race. Even if it is a competition, it is not a race. There is no time limit, and it does not matter how quickly Space finished his add-on. All that matters is who's add-on is of a better quality.
