Looks shoddy.
My brother's hand-me-down Razer headset broke today. It fell on the carpet and somehow it the impact was hard enough to knock the left speaker off. Fortunately I found out which wire goes to which, so I'll just solder them on one day and clip it back on.

It hits carpet and breaks?
Is there a hundred foot ledge that sits next to your computer that's carpeted on the bottom?

I'd say the length between my floor and my desk edge is maybe 3'9". My sense of perception is awful so idk.
