Dapizzanator:

Alright, because I've got nothing better to do, and there have been so many requests lately, I'm making a quick tutorial on how to make an avatar.
Static (One Picture) AvatarTo make a static avatar, you must follow these guidelines:

* Have a picture that you want for your avatar
* Have internet connection, to access the forumsThat's just about it. You come to the forums, click the blue "PROFILE" button at the top of the page, next to "SEARCH", click "Forum Profile Information," to the left of the page, and click "I will upload my own avatar." After that, press the "Browse" button, find the file you want, and press "Change Profile," at the bottom of the page. That's it, you're done with your avatar.

Animated ("Moving") AvatarFollow the steps above to use a moving avatar, but remember these guidelines. If you do not follow these guidelines, the avatar will simply not move, and will be one frame.

* The file must be in .Gif format
* The file must be 75x75 pixels, length and width
* The file must already be animated. No, it will not animate itself. That should about do it. Like I said, follow the steps listed above, and you're golden. Thank you for reading this. Please do not make a topic about "How to make an avatar?" or "How do I make a moving avatar?"

Deriboy:

Nice. Maybe add something about NOT using MS paint and transparency.

Too bad you can't edit in Help :V

Dapizzanator:

Using TransparencyHere is how to make your avatar transparent (Match the background/invisible) in parts you don't want to be white. I recommend Paint.net, it's very useful.

* Get out your avatar in Paint.net
* Click on the "Erase" tool.
* "Erase" any of the areas that you want transparent
* Save the file, as a .GifAny help on this will be appreciated, as I have never transparent-ed an already-animated avatar; I draw the frames myself (Except for my current one. Thanks to Makinanix).
