Do I have to portfoward a modem if i have cable/DSL ?

In other words; Host a server. If it's dead/people can't connect, you need to forward your ports.

Omfg i know i have to do that but Ephialtes says i might have a modem and a router combined into one but how would i port foward a modem/router? or how would i find out if i have a router inside my modem? plz help.

Same way you do with a normal router.

Does it have more than one ethernet port on the back?

The same way you'd do it with a regular separate router/modem connection.
