If he want's a new crosshair, where is the harm? If you don't want to help him out, that's fine, just don't be a richardhead and don't waste his and your time by posting.

You make the background alpha, or trans.
Use paint.net or the GIMP, it has those options.

We don't need a new crosshair, its good and simple.
The only other thing that might be good is a little white dot, but not as good as the circle.
