Honestly its not surprising someone else hasn't already done this, if you're used to these situations and you don't mind sleeping in a stuff hole then you can definitely do it yourself. As for stealing a plane, most of them were probably at an open field airport (no fences).

Kudos to him for no pusillanimous individualing out, though in the end he may seem like a badass but its a stuff life.

I don't think he's actually been living in the wild since he was 7. I think they were just saying he's always been wild growing up. But I can also see it your way and that does sound like a load of bull to me.

Well according to what was posted, it said that he was living wild since 7 after being brought up in a gypsy like caravan on some island in the middle of nowhere, yet for some reason, he had access to electricity and video games so that he could learn to fly a plane. And up to 11 years later, after still had some idea on how to do it even though he only sparingly stole and flew planes and crashed them (wouldn't the sims teach him how to land them as well?) then at I'm guessing 16-17 years old, he was put into a juvenile center which he then escaped to continue living in the woods. The police know his targets, yet they, for some reason, can not locate a kid living on an island because they decide not to patrol it for the event that he runs out of supplies and has to go out for another crime spree. Granted, I can see where a lot of this is possible on certain separate instances, but  this story itself is a little too much to chew on. Or the local police force are either sympathetic to the boy and don't care to catch them or are completely incompetent.

If he stole them after escaping, then that just means a longer period in which he would be able to remember how to fly a plane from a sim game. that's a  minimum of 9 years of living out in the wild since he would have had access to electricity long enough to play such a game.

Oh yes, he was a delinquent before, I don't doubt that. My main point is why that island isn't patrolled so that when he has to go out for more supplies, he isn't caught. To think they haven't thought about this for 2 years as is after knowing his targets, knowing his most likely means of escape, and knowing his most probable escape destination is a bit hard to swallow.
