Everything's relative. Everyone understands that. Time moves fast when you're having fun, time moves slow when you're not. Etc, etc.
He's saying that disliking him as a person because you dislike his add-ons is like disliking Einstein because you don't understand what he does.
I don't see your point. Theoretical physics is not the same as making an add-on. You can dislike a person for producing something of shoddy value regardless of if you understand the process involved.
I understand very well what Heed does, and I still don't like him. That brown townogy was terrible.
