Publishing Add-on details?

I've just made a player type, and works well in one player mode, but all the player type add-ons I see have an RTB info file in it. Does this matter (since I'm not posting it on RTB)?

No, the info file is added by RTB, and for some reason Ephialtes didn't spend the time to stop it from being downloaded.
