i don't think we (the super cool all powerful leaders of tomorrow of the forums) users should just have the right to "test" new people by harassing them? lol
this is what you think is happening
- new guy joins forums
- you push him a little to find out if hes socially worthy of your forum
- if he don't drama out and leave, you THEN welcome him and accept him.
this is what is ACTUALLY happening
- new guy joins the forums
- you need to let him know you are better then him
- you push him and be a jerk
- if he dramas out and leaves, you pay yourself a cigarettel337 point
- if he takes it and stays, you think you earned yourself another cigarettel337 point
- and now you have encouraged this guy to be just as big an starfish to other new people to earn your respect that he didnt even need.
