I would agree you an get cheaper hardware because apple has a monopoly.

Here's how I see it. Macs are more the working computer. pretty limited, but has some good work programs. Windows is more of a gaming computer. More hardrive, but not as much office/work stuff

how doesd one "work" better on any computer anyways? this isnt the 80s where word documents needed to run faster

True. Windows can do everything a mac can and more, but macs have a smaller harddrive.

A 5 year old engine.

Not a relevant arguement as you play games based off of that engine quite often.

I went to bed last night, and this had 2 replies. I come back, and there's 3 pages o.0
Anyway, I found out I can't install it, cause the disc I have doesn't have loving SP2.
Tomorrow, ima buy a new disc.

He posts a topic on how he's getting TF2 on his Mac and people automatically just tell him to get a PC. :(

How is having a smaller hard drive a good thing?

With a Mac, you pay more for a smaller hard drive than a Seagate (or any other hard drive made for Windows/not Macs.) with average capacity.

I have a terabyte of memory :D
Anyway, it installed, I just need to get the internet connection running.

Tom

I have no experience with 7 or Vista, but I think OSX has a better user experience then XP.

No, you don't. In terms of computers memory = RAM. You DO NOT have 1 terabyte of ram.

I have been using windows 7 ultimate for 3 months now and have used even the newest version of Mac OSX, and I an easily say that the user interface in windows 7 is the best and smoothest I have ever used.

In most cases yes, but I think it can be interchanged.

I really don't see the point of anything over 500 GB, unless download a lot of full length TV shows/movies.

Is it easy to navigate, does it have a built in, customizable sidebar on all the windows?
